Our mission is to inform and sensitize people about the ongoing conflict and the humanitarian disaster as a consequence of this conflict. We from Peace Activities Switzerland set up a worldwide network of contacts with different medias, organizations, politicians and people from all over world in order to gain and forward information about this conflict.

Based on these gained facts Peace Activities Switzerland launched several activities. Amongst them we spread a petition against the use of cluster munitions by the government of Sri Lanka. This petition which is addressed to the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (Mrs. Navanethem Pillay) has been signed by people from different countries and has been handed over by Peace Activities Switzerland to the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Geneva on March 19th 2009.
